Privacy policy
Updated 27 October 2026
This policy explains how Phase and this website handle information.
Who operates Phase
Phase is developed by Om Gawande. Contact om.spider.dev@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests.
Your wallpaper work
Favorites, saved recipes and editing preferences are stored on your device. Wallpaper rendering and exports happen on your device. Phase does not upload your wallpaper projects or exported images and videos to a Phase server. If you share a file, the destination you choose receives it under its own privacy practices.
Advertising
The free app uses Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK can collect and share an IP address, approximate location inferred from it, device or advertising identifiers, ad and app interactions, and diagnostics. Google uses this information to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and maintain its services. Phase requests non-personalized ads; this does not mean that the ad SDK collects no data.
Where required, the app presents Google's consent controls before requesting ads. You can revisit available choices in Settings → Ad privacy choices and use your device's advertising privacy settings. Phase+ removes in-app ads.
Read Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information for advertising.
Purchases
Apple or Google processes payments. Phase uses RevenueCat to verify purchases and restore Phase+ access. RevenueCat processes purchase history, transaction and subscription status, an app user identifier, and the technical information needed to verify and deliver access. Phase does not receive your full payment-card details and does not require a Phase account or personal contact attributes to buy Phase+.
See RevenueCat's privacy policy, Apple's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy.
Photos and permissions
Phase requests access needed to save your exports to your photo library or device storage. You can decline or change permissions in system settings. The app does not need broad access to your existing photos to export a wallpaper.
This website and support
This website does not add analytics, advertising trackers or cookies. Its hosting provider processes standard request information, such as IP addresses and requested URLs, to serve and secure the site. When you email support, we receive your email address and whatever you send. Avoid sending passwords, full payment details or unrelated personal information.
Retention, deletion and your choices
You can remove saved work within the app or clear its local app data. Uninstalling the app may remove local projects, but it does not cancel a store subscription. Store purchase records and provider records may remain for billing, fraud prevention or legal obligations.
To request access, correction or deletion of information associated with Phase, email om.spider.dev@gmail.com with the subject “Phase privacy request”. If available, include your RevenueCat app user ID or a store transaction reference so we can locate the record. We may need information to verify the request. Do not send payment-card details. We will explain what can be deleted and any records that must be retained. You can also contact the relevant provider directly.
Security and international processing
Ad and purchase providers process information on servers that may be outside your country. Their services use encrypted transport. No service or device storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
Phase is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Phase, contact us so we can investigate and address the request.
Changes
We will publish changes on this page and update the date above. Significant changes may also be explained in the app.
